- Collard Greens (8 oz)
- Rapini (8 oz)
- Salad Mix (4 oz)
- Sweet Salad Turnips (2)
- Radishes (sm bunch)
- Cilantro (2 oz)
- Strawberries (paid shares only)
- Asparagus (1/2 lb paid shares only
Recipe of the week: Rapini and Caramelized Onions
Ingredients
2 lg onion
2+ Tbs. butter
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/2 lb of rapini
1/2 C vegetable or chicken broth
Directions
1.Half and slice the onions, and saute them with butter on medium until the onions are golden brown. ~ 30 min.
2.Add garlic and broth, and bring to a boil.
3.Roughly chop the rapini and add it to the pan.
4.Cover partially with a tilted lid to let steam escape, and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 5-10 min depending on taste your preferences.
5. S&P to taste.
This makes a delicious side dish for pasta.
